Improving Hospital Spaces at Hinchingbrooke

Refurbishment at Hinchingbrooke Hospital

Improving Spaces at Hinchingbrooke Hospital

At Tom Watson Painters, we recently collaborated with Construct Building Services as part of their ongoing works at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. Our involvement focused on refreshing and refurbishing a number of live hospital units, helping to improve and modernise essential working spaces.

Working in a Live Healthcare Environment

One of the unique challenges on this project was carrying out our work while the hospital units remained fully operational. Medical staff continued their essential work, and patients were nearby throughout the process. Our team maintained the highest level of professionalism, working efficiently and respectfully to minimise disruption.

A friendly, can-do attitude was essential. We understood the importance of being flexible, considerate, and approachable to ensure the experience was smooth and safe for everyone involved.

"Ultimate professionalism and adaptability were key – our team delivered with care and precision in a sensitive, live hospital environment."

Health & Safety First

In a healthcare setting, maintaining cleanliness is critical. We used dust extraction systems and applied fast-drying paints and fillers to ensure safety and cleanliness at all times. These measures allowed for rapid turnaround with minimal impact on the hospital’s daily operations.

The Result: Refreshed, Practical, and Professional Spaces

The completed units now benefit from a clean, professional look, helping to improve both the environment for staff and the experience for patients. It’s a testament to what can be achieved when trades work respectfully within live environments.

We’re proud to have supported Construct Building Services on this important project and to have played a role in improving a vital healthcare facility.

If you're planning a similar project and need a team that delivers quality, reliability, and care – even in complex environments – we’d love to hear from you.
